Caedium Brings Interactive CFD to the Mac

The latest release of Caedium (v2.1) from Symscape now supports Mac OS X (10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard) in addition to Windows and Linux.

Also in this new release are various enhancements to 3D selection, the properties panel, and geometry creation for all platforms.

Pointwise V16.03 Attacks CAD Interoperability Issues

Pointwise announces the latest release of its Pointwise computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing software featuring tools for addressing problems associated with computer aided design (CAD) geometry data.

Pointwise’s Solid Meshing feature suite can automatically create watertight geometry models without the gaps and overlaps that can cripple the mesh generation process.
