OpenFOAM Introductory and Advanced Courses Offered

Gridcore AB in collaboration with Wikki Ltd. will deliver several OpenFOAM courses, both introductory and advanced, during autumn 2010.

Large Eddy Simulation Awareness Workshop

The NAFEMS Large Eddy Simulation Awareness Workshop: Turbulence Modelling beyond RANS will be held on 8th November 2010 at Rolls-Royce Learning & Development Centre in Derby.

Large Eddy Simulation, LES, is fast becoming more readily available in the major commercial CFD codes and from the internet. Computer power is increasing rapidly too, at an affordable cost, making it potentially easier to run simulations using such methods.
