In addition, the new Flash capability supports lossless image compression, so there is no loss of quality in either format.
“By making it possible to create Flash files directly through EnSight, we’re saving valuable time for EnSight users who want to include visualizations in Web sites, presentations, or customized portals,” said Randall Frank, a senior developer at CEI. “Now, anyone with Adobe Flash authoring tools can read and work with the images and animations created with EnSight without the need for additional format conversion utilities.”
In addition to EnSight, CEI’s free, python-based EnVe video editor is now also compatible with both Flash formats.
