News ANSYS will host ANSYS Meshing Platform for CFD Analysis on Wednesday, October 14 at 4pm EDT and again on Wednesday, November 11 at 9am EST.

The ANSYS meshing platform uses meshing technologies from ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS ICEM CFD, ANSYS CFX, GAMBIT, TGrid and CADOE, and takes advantage of the ANSYS Workbench 2.0 framework so users can create a mesh in a unified environment tailored to their experience.

Our panel of experts will be available online to answer your questions on the ANSYS meshing platform for CFD analysis. Ask your own questions or simply listen in on the discussion.

To begin, our experts will make a short presentation on meshing using the ANSYS meshing platform demonstrating how to apply different meshing technologies to different bodies and use mesh controls to improve the mesh. Then, participants in the forum can take over by calling in their questions – instructions for this process will be given throughout the session.

To get your queries flowing, here are some possible questions:

  1. Does the ANSYS meshing platform offer an equivalent to a specific tool that I used in another meshing package?
  2. How do I locate poor quality mesh elements?
  3. Does the ANSYS meshing platform offer any CAD defeaturing tools?

Join us for this free one-hour webinar and see how our users are benefiting from the insight that computer simulation offers.
