CFD++ Version 8.1.1 is Now Available

Metacomp Technologies, Inc., a leader in Computational Fluid Dynamics, has released CFD++ Version 8.1 Release 1.

The new version of Metacomp's flagship CFD package includes many enhancements. CFD++ is based on unified grid, unified physics and unified computing methodology in an advanced numerical discretization and solution framework.

Enhancements include in the following areas:

Riemann Solver
Boundary Conditions
Turbulence
Fluid Properties
Topology
Numerical Options
Probing Options
GUI Additions
Reactions
Solver Initialization
Automated Wizard set-up tools
The training cases have been updated to conform to CFD++ 8.1.1. They include new settings or "best practice" settings for this version. In addition, several new sample cases have been added to the HTML documentation that is included with the current release.
