GridPro2D was designed to closely reproduce GridPro’s functionality in two dimensions with a smaller, more compact user interface integrated into Tecplot 360. GridPro2D users will continue to benefit from GridPro’s traditional flexibility, automation, quality and advanced parametric capabilities.
GridPro2D works with AutoCAD drawings as .dxf files. Users can take advantage of templates by modifying the surface files or changing the shape of surfaces inside Tecplot 360. In addition, GridPro2D makes it easy to do boundary layer clustering and generate periodic grids.
“Our agreement to distribute GridPro2D demonstrates our dedication to GridPro customers as well as our own,” said Tecplot President Mike Peery. “GridPro’s dedication to technical excellence and focus on customer solutions align perfectly with our values, making this relationship a natural fit.”
GridPro Founder and President Dr. Peter Eiseman said, “Tecplot is an invaluable partner for GridPro. Their focus is a perfect match with our commitment to maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. We are delighted to have them as a distributor for this exciting new product.”
