The application features an extensive collection of more than 2300 airfoil and hydrofoil profiles, categorized in 118 family types. The geometric datasets include profile coordinates in both numerical and graphical formats and profile properties (area, centroid, maximum thickness, maximum camber and moments of inertia) in numerical format.

For each profile, calculated performance data are given, to include coefficient of lift, coefficient of moment and drag polars for different angles of attack and Reynolds numbers, in both numerical and graphical formats. A 2nd order panel method with a linear varying vortex distribution was used for the calculation of the performance data.

A powerful search engine helps the user to locate the airfoils or hydrofoils satisfying the given criteria. A visual identification of the differences between two profiles can be easily performed using one or more compare windows. Further data analysis and manipulation is quite simple through the export function while, for enhanced functionality, the user may export the profile shape in a CAD format.

The multi-language option makes it easy to have the application’s windows along with its help files into one of the five supported languages; English, French, German, Greek and Italian.
