| AxSTREAM Improves Radial Turbomachinery Flow Path Design |
|
 |
 |
 |
|
For some time our customers have been waiting for the possibility to design and optimize radial turbomachinery. In AxSTREAM v.2.0 this capability has become available. This allows users to work with both radial and axial machines.
New features include:
- Mixed/Radial/Axial flow path design from scratch and multidisciplinary optimization using a handful of basic parameters and a set of geometric constraints
- Mixed/Radial/Axial flow path meanline analysis and optimization with support of as-designed and off-design operational conditions
- Throughflow analysis
- Camberline/Thickness interactive profiling and airfoil design
- Push-Button FEA
- Integrated optimizer based on design-of-experiment (DoE) methodology
- Performance maps generation
- Capability to export 3D airfoil geometry in formats acceptable for Numeca, ANSYS CFX, etc. and in IGES format for NX, SolidWorks, Pro-E, ANSYS, etc.
AxSTREAM v.2.0 brings new advantages to the industry and streamlines the process of turbomachinery design and analysis substantially decreasing the time required for project development.
Video presentations of the new modules are available for download immediately:
