Post Processing Intelligent Light, developer of FIELDVIEW, the world’s foremost CFD post-processor, has made the latest development in high-performance exploration of CFD data available as a free download. The new FIELDVIEW ATViewer software delivers highly interactive exploration of CFD simulations post-processed with FIELDVIEW. The FIELDVIEW ATViewer client can be run as a standalone viewer for interrogation and collaboration.

The FIELDVIEW ATViewer software uses an extract database created by FIELDVIEW that can be many times smaller than the native dataset. The extract database contains all surfaces, rakes and relevant scalar, thresholding, and vector data allowing detailed, interactive analysis of steady and transient datasets using a local workstation.

FIELDVIEW ATViewer lets you:
  • Explore large datasets interactively (20-50+ frames per second)
  • Bring unsteady simulations to life
  • Share your results without animations
Designed as a powerful analysis and collaboration tool, FIELDVIEW ATViewer provides the ability to:
  • Manage data size for optimal viewing and collaboration
  • Evaluate streamlines and streaklines
  • Change scalar or vector variables
  • Apply thresholds
  • Show and hide surfaces, particles, isosurfaces

This new software delivers unprecedented capabilities for exploration of complex data. “I was amazed when I started working with FIELDVIEW ATViewer. To interact with the data at 20 to 50 frames per second is a fundamental change in the way we can work,” said Dr. Earl Duque, associate research professor of mechanical engineering at Northern Arizona University.

Learn more about FIELDVIEW ATViewer and experience the latest in CFD visualization technology by downloading the software and sample datasets from www.ilight.com.

Free evaluation copies of FIELDVIEW may be requested by interested CFD users. FIELDVIEW evaluations include FIELDVIEW ATViewer and will allow users to generate their own datasets for exploration.
