In the world of turbomachinery, the design of propellers plays a significant role. Depending upon the applications, ranging from a small scale drone propeller to the turbo-fan propellers used in aircraft, an understanding is required on how the propellers affect the fluid (air or water) flow around them, and in turn how they themselves are affected.

Using CFD simulations to predict the flow around such propeller blades will help you to gain insights on how to improve your design and their respective efficiency. Not only can the flow around the propellers, but also the effects of rotating blades can be predicted using SimScale. This can be done using either an Arbitrary Mesh Interface (AMI) method or the Multiple Reference Frame method (MRF). Join our webinar to learn how this is possible!

There is no prior knowledge or software required to join this webinar. All participants can get free access to SimScale with all the required simulation features by creating a Community account on the website. If you are not able to attend the live session, we would still encourage you to register in order to receive the recording.
