Announcements Phoenix Integration will host a webcast covering their flagship product, PHX ModelCenter®, a simulation-building environment in which it is easy to add third-party CAD, meshing, FEA, and CFD analysis models as "plug-ins".

The webcast, presented by Dr. Peter Menegay, will be held Friday November 2, 2007 from 2-4 pm US Eastern Time.

Once in ModelCenter, the components can be linked to one another to form an automated design system. A critical issue in trade studies analysis is the desire to accelerate the time-consuming detailed design step.

Integrating CAD tools with ModelCenter decreases product development cycle times. Changes to the design are made and evaluated entirely within ModelCenter. An example design problem modeled in various CAD/CAE tools will be integrated into ModelCenter so detailed design trade-studies can be conducted automatically.

This Webcast will include:

  • Functional overview of PHX ModelCenter® / Analysis Server®
  • Fidelity Forward Design: Using CAD/CAE during early stage trades
  • Combining conceptual and preliminary/detail design to accelerate product development
  • Running trade studies in PHX ModelCenter
  • Capabilities demonstrations

Products featured during this Webcast will include CATIA®, Altair HyperMesh®, Ansys®, Fluent®, and PHX ModelCenter / Analysis Server.
