• Direct Coupling Interface allows users to couple SIMULIA products with each other, with partner products, or with customer-developed software codes
• Independent Code-Coupling allows customers the most flexibility in utilizing the best solution for their problem

Extended Multiphysics Capability

• New fluid-structure capability based on an Eulerian-Lagrangian approach will be delivered in Abaqus Version 6.7 Extended Functionality
• Simultaneously determine the behavior of structures with simple fluids in a single model without the need to couple multiple codes and/or solvers
• Applications such as gas-flow inflated automotive airbags, tire hydroplaning, wave loading on offshore structures, cosmetic product dispensing, fuel tank sloshing, and high-velocity impact and penetration
