News ANSYS will present a webinar on Optimizing Chemical Reactor Performance on July 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. EDT

In the process and energy industries, significant engineering effort goes into better understanding and management of chemical reactions. With recent emphasis on new material design, energy savings, greenhouse gas reduction, pollution abatement and increased safety concerns, chemical engineers are turning to detailed three-dimensional virtual prototyping for optimization of complex reactors. Recent advances in computer and modeling technology are providing insights into the detailed effects of transport, equipment components, and overall reactor performance.
