Announcements There is now less than two weeks left to register before the International Oil and Gas CFD Conference opens in London on November 30th, the first event of its kind to be held in the UK.

A final agenda has been announced highlighting an impressive array of keynote speakers from industry leading global companies including Shell, BP, Halliburton, NATCO, EniTechnologie, and Pluere. The IOCC will be one of the single biggest gatherings of CFD industry practitioners within the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries, ever.

Specifically targeted at users and team managers involved with the application of CFD, the international importance of the event is already evident with registrants showing a significant North American, European and Asian/Middle East split.

The IOCC will feature real world CFD application sessions on Separation Technologies, Dispersion Modeling, Refinery Modeling, LNG, and Downhole & Drilling Operations, coupled with leading-edge research into Discrete Element Modeling, Vortex-Induced Vibration, and Multiphase Flows in the Oil & Gas Industry, thus ensuring that a complete gamut of current and emerging CFD applications are covered in the conference.

The IOCC is being held on board the HQS Wellington, which is permanently moored on the River Thames at Embankment in the heart of London. Hosted by ANSYS, the event will attract in excess of 120 representatives of the global oil and gas industry, and will feature 24 presentations over two days (November 30th/December 1st). There will also be an exhibition by partner solutions providers including Dassault Systemes, HP, Microsoft and Sharc. In addition to the conference and exhibition, delegates will be able to attend the evening dinner to be held at The Orangery in the world famous Kensington Palace.
