Pump and Fan 3D Inverse Design Workshop

Announcements Advanced Design Technology (ADT) will host a two day aero/hydrodynamic design training workshop for incompressible flow turbomachinery applications on June 29-30, 2006 in Detroit.

The workshop will introduce the inverse design process and compare this with conventional design. It will enable participants to apply the unique features of TURBOdesign-1 3-D inverse design code, coupled with TURBOcfd in the hydrodynamics/aerodynamics design of their own specific blade row, under the supervision of experienced design staff from ADT.


Sponsor CFD Review

All workshop participants will receive 30 days free license of TURBOdesign-1 and TURBOcfd.

Date and Location

The workshop will be held on June 29 - 30 2006, at ADT's North American agent CD-adapco offices, 9401 General Drive, Suite 131, Plymouth, MI 48701 • USA.

Who Should Attend?

The workshop is aimed at designers in pump and fan industries who are interested in exploring the considerable potential of 3D inverse design methods, coupled with the ease of use features of TURBOcfd to improve the aero/hydrodynamic performance of blade rows as well as reducing design and development times.

Accommodation and Transportation

ADT & CD-adapco have negotiated special rates for overnight accommodations at various hotels local to the event site and is easily accessible by all means of transportation.

Registration and Fees.

If you register before the initial deadline of June 15, 2006, the fee for the two day workshop is $1,000 USD. This includes beverages, lunches and workshop dinner as well as 30 days free trial license for TURBOdesign-1 and TURBOcfd. The registration cost after this date will be $1,500 USD.
