CD-adapco Internal Combustion Engine Workshop

News Following the success of the recent Internal Combustion Engine Workshop held in Germany, CD-adapco would like to announce a similar event in the US, to be held April 7, 2006 in Detroit, MI.

This event brings together users of CD-adapco’s STAR-CD and es-ice engine simulation products, providing a forum to hear about the latest and forthcoming developments and to discuss technical issues of interest with other users.

The event is open to all users and potential users of STAR-CD and CAE Managers responsible for engine flow and combustion simulation.


Sponsor CFD Review

This event will be chaired by Richard Johns, Automotive Director for CD-adapco.

The preliminary agenda includes the following topics:

  • In-Cylinder Modeling: Recent and Forthcoming Developments – Marc Zellat
  • es-ice: Recent Developments and development plans – Gerald Schmidt
  • ICE longer term developments – Prof David Gosman
  • User Presentations

Other topics may be included depending on the level of interest expressed by users and the time available:

  • ICE Engine Software Testing
  • Advanced ICE applications
  • 1D-3D coupling

A detailed agenda will be sent nearer to the date of the workshop. Registration will start at 8:00am. The workshop will commence at 9:00am and will finish at 3:00pm. There is no charge for attending the meeting.
