Gridgen training courses are composed of both lecture and hands-on sessions. A notebook containing the lectures notes and tutorials is provided to each attendee.

Training starts with an overview of Gridgen terminology, the GUI components, and Gridgen's Help features. This is followed by a discussion of 2D structured and unstructured grid construction. The afternoon session expands the discussion to the construction of 3D structured grids and also includes an intensive look at the tools available in Gridgen to control grid point distribution.

The second day moves onto 3D unstructured grids and then the suite of diagnostic tools available to examine and confirm the high quality of meshes created with Gridgen. Extrusion of structured and unstructured grids is also discussed. The seminar concludes with an examination of Gridgen's extensive hybrid grid generation capability.
