Fuel economy prediction is heavily influenced by the performance of the engine cooling system and its impact on the vehicle’s aerodynamic drag, and the load from the air-conditioning system. To improve the predictions, specialist simulation capabilities need to be applied and brought together with the vehicle performance calculations through co-simulation. This webinar discusses the aspect of co-simulating detailed thermal system models with fuel economy calculations and the improvements obtained.
A case study will be presented by DaimlerChrysler on fuel economy improvement, using thermal system co-simulation.
To register for the free webinar on 18 August 2005 visit the webinar website. The webinar will be recorded and available to watch after 18 August at the past seminars website.
