News Next Limit Dynamics SL, the publishers of the next-generation CFD package XFlow™, announced the signing of an International Reseller Agreement with Extendsive Solutions LLC for the distribution and support of XFlow CFD in the U.S. and Canada.

XFlow is a new approach to CFD simulation software based on a proprietary implementation of the Lattice-Boltzmann Method (LBM).

XFlow is a next generation CFD package that allows fully automatic and adaptive meshing even for the most complex simulations. XFlow simulations can handle very large domains with a high degree of physical complexity even if the simulations include widely varying length scales, moving boundaries, complex moving parts, open surface or multiphase flows.

While overcoming the limitations of previous-generation LBM software, XFlow still maintains the highly parallel nature of the LBM approach and offers performance with near-linear scalability to thousands of processor cores.

XFlow is used in a wide range of industries and applications, including external aerodynamics and other automotive applications, aerospace and defense, manufacturing of all kinds, clean energy applications, marine vessels and offshore installations, architectural / civil engineering and more.

Extendsive Solutions will provide sales, support, training and related consulting for XFlow CFD in the U.S. and Canada. “We are very pleased to be promoting and supporting XFlow’s next-generation CFD for clients in the U.S. and Canada,” said Scott Thibault, General Manager at Extendsive. “We feel very strongly that CFD tools that eliminate manual meshing while providing excellent performance on both workstations and DMP clusters are the future of CFD. We are also impressed with the rapid pace of development of XFlow.”

“We are confident that Extendsive Solutions will be effective at promoting and supporting our technology in North America and look forward to working with many new American and Canadian clients as a result of this partnership,” remarked David Holman, XFlow General Manager at Next Limit Dynamics SL. “We rely on Extendsive’s wide experience in a number of key industries to help us connect with clients who can put our technology to use effectively to solve real-world engineering problems and help their own businesses prosper.”
