Martin Faber, a veteran of more than 20 years in computer-aided engineering, has joined CEI as an account executive. Faber is based in the Detroit area and is responsible for a seven-state region in the U.S. (Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin) and Canada. CEI is a simulation software company best known for its industry-leading EnSight software.
Before joining CEI, Faber held sales, technical and business management positions in leading CAE vendor companies such as Aries Technology, MSC.Software and Mechanical Dynamics.

He also has considerable experience as a technology end-user, working for Volvo Car Corp. and the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Faber has a degree in aerospace engineering from the Technical University of Haarlem, The Netherlands.
“Martin brings a wealth of experience to CEI, especially in the automotive sector,” says Darin McKinnis, CEI’s vice president of marketing and sales. “CEI has a lot of prominent customers in his region, and we know there are huge opportunities to help companies visualize illusive factors that lead to better product engineering and research discoveries.”
“CEI has a fantastic reputation,” says Faber. “Ever since I saw some amazing EnSight animations, the product and the company have been planted in my mind. I’m happy to join the highly motivated team that creates, sells and supports CEI products.”
McKinnis believes that a greater presence in Michigan and the surrounding area can help CEI duplicate the success the company had last year building regional business from a new Houston office. CEI boasts nearly two-dozen customers in Michigan alone, including all the major automotive manufacturers and suppliers. Other customers in the seven-state region Faber will serve include Behr, Caterpillar, General Electric, GKN, Modine, NASA’s John Glenn Research Center, Procter & Gamble, John Deere, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
