Flow Science Announces Creation of Engineering Services Division

News Flow Science, Inc. has announced the creation of a new Engineering Services Division and the appointment of Boris Lukezic as Director of the new division. The Engineering Services Division will initially provide services to the metal casting industry, which can benefit greatly from the combination of Flow Science’s FLOW-3D® simulation software and the extensive industry experience of Mr. Lukezic.

Mr. Lukezic has over thirteen years of experience in the die casting industry with Burlington Technologies (3½ years) and Amcan Castings (9½ years), where he was Product Engineering Manager responsible for all aspects of Amcan’s full-service engineering department.

In addition to his die casting experience, Mr. Lukezic has other experience in the automotive industry where he spent several years with TRW Canada and Kuester-Magna Cable Controls. A 1988 graduate of the University of Waterloo (BASc in Mechanical Engineering), Mr. Lukezic received his MBA from McMaster University in 1996. He is a member of the Executive Committee of NADCA Chapter 10, a member of the NADCA Task Force on process modeling and simulation and is a certified infrared thermographer.

Flow Science, Inc. is a privately-held software company specializing in high fidelity fluid dynamics modeling software for industrial and scientific applications. Flow Science’s core product is FLOW-3D, a highly-regarded simulation software package specializing in free surface flows. Flow Science is located in Santa Fe, NM.
