News ADT will host Introducing 3Dlab and New Features for Multi-Disciplinary Optimization in TURBOdesign Suite on September 30th.

TURBOdesign Suite is a unique aerodynamic and hydrodynamic 3D design software package that allows users to design, analyze and optimize all types of turbomachinery, such as axial, mixed-flow, or centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, turbines and torque converters.

Using the software, designers evaluate turbomachinery package size and performance predictions, perform detailed 3D blade design with 3D inverse design capabilities, analyze flow information per component, stage performances with turbomachinery specific 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and automate exploration of the design space with automatic optimization capabilities.

Abstract
Advanced Design Technology is proud to announce the release of TURBOdesign Suite v6 - a major update to the Suite with significant new functionality and new modules to enable a faster, more effective design process for all engineers. In this 1 hour webinar we will highlight the main features of the release through the design of a turbocharger compressor:

  • Newly developed, validated, map prediction capability within TURBOdesign Pre
  • An updated, modern interface for 3D blade design in TURBOdesign 1
  • Enhanced post-processing capabilities utilising user-definable functions
  • Creation of a Design of Experiments analysis using new functionality now fully contained within TURBOdesign Optima
  • Analysis of the DoE results using Kriging Response Surface Modelling, again fully integrated within TURBOdesign Optima
  • Export of the final optimum design as a solid model including the backplate and fillets utilising a new module to the suite - TURBOdesign 3Dlab

Join this webinar to:

  • Learn what's new in TURBOdesign Suite 6, including major enhancements to TURBOdesign Optima
  • Discover the newest addition to the suite - 3Dlab
  • See how TURBOdesign Suite brings tighter integration to the design process than ever before

In an attempt to accomodate your schedule we will be hosting a live webinar at both 9AM BST and 12PM EDT.
