ASHRAE CFD Shootout Contest

	ASHRAE is organizing a CFD contest to evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of using CFD techniques to numerically determine the loss coefficients for duct fittings. Contest winners will present their results in technical papers published by ASHRAE, and will be awarded a cash prize (total: $45000).

	The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), founded in 1894, is an international organization of 51,000 persons. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education.
