Wilde CFD Expands its Software Technical Team

News Wilde, the Stockport based FEA, CFD and Reliability Engineering solution specialist, welcomes Dr. Alister Simpson (PhD, MENG, AMIMECHE) to the CFD team.

Alister brings with him a wealth of experience of fluid dynamics in aerospace and general mechanical applications. His last job, before joining Wilde, was for a company designing turbo-machinery in association with Queen’s University, Belfast.

Wilde’s CFD Technical Director, Dr. Simon Leefe, said of the appointment, “We are continually expanding our CFD portfolio and Alistair’s appointment will strengthen our client offering.
