In power generation, CFD can help at every stage of the generating process. From the design of fluidised coal beds, through the optimisation of combustion chambers and turbines, to the modelling of exhaust flows and stack plumes. It is the unseen catalyst that will enable the final design of one of today's holy grails: a clean coal power generation plant featuring zero emissions of greenhouse gases.
