News ACUITIV™ Software, a leading provider of next-generation Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) visualization software, has announced that John Zink Company LLC, a Koch Chemical Technology Group LLC company, has selected ACUITIV’s computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technology to enhance its visualization capabilities.

John Zink Company’s selection of ACUITIV’s CFD visualization software was based on its superior post-processing capabilities and ease of use. “As a company with a strong commitment to CFD, we have been seeking new technologies to improve our efficiency in interpreting and analyzing results and to enhance our ability to market John Zink’s CFD capabilities,” said Dr. Roberto Ruiz, vice president, technology and commercial development at John Zink. “ACUITIV makes it easier to generate a more robust and comprehensive assessment of results from our CFD models. It ultimately allows our organization to gain greater design insight and significantly speed up delivery. We chose ACUITIV because of its superior post-processing capabilities and the ability to work on both the desktop and immersive environments with flexibility and powerful animation features. ACUITIV allows our customers and engineers to better ‘visualize’ how equipment responds to changing process parameters such as temperature, heat input, fuel pressure, and other parameters of interest.”

ACUITIV provides today’s CFD market with a user-friendly tool for analyzing and improving designs. ACUITIV will be used by John Zink to maintain its position as the leader in providing technology solutions in the markets it serves and to enhance its CFD capabilities for improved engineering design, research and development and process diagnosis.

“John Zink’s choice of ACUITIV demonstrates the increasing demand for our CFD visualization solution in key markets across the globe,” said Bill Panepinto, general manager of ACUITIV Software. “Companies like John Zink, due to the nature of their business, rely heavily on CFD in their daily work and require a level of sophistication that is provided by our solution such as unmatched graphical detail, deep analysis capabilities and the ability to work within the desktop and immersive environments. With a variety of file readers to support output from the major CFD simulation product suppliers, ACUITIV is able to provide customers like John Zink a next generation CFD solution to analyze complex designs.”
