Help Desk baixn writes "The idea is to examine the thermal field surrounding a combusting sphere of solid propellant. Given the heat release rate determine the thermal field surrounding this sphere. The spherical mass is 10 mm diameter and weighs 30 grams. The heat release rate is: Q=0Kcal/gm @ t=0ms and Q=2.1Kcal/gm @ t=20ms and Q=0Kcal/gm @ t=40ms.

My question is: Should I use heat transfer model or combusting model to simulate this case? How to simulate?

Any advice is highly appreciated.

Best Regards,
baixn"
