Korea Buys Big Iron

News The Korea Institute of Science Technology and Information has purchased one of the 10 largest supercomputers in the world from IBM to use in its science and high performance computing research.

The machine will be used for natural and applied sciences such as life science, physics, chemistry and fluid mechanics (read CFD). The machine will use IBM's new Power4 technology.
