Application: CFD Solves Shower Curtain Mystery

Application Engineer David Schmidt employed Fluent to determine why the shower curtain frustratingly sucks in during your shower.

By modifying Fluent to model sprays, Schmidt was able to model the standard shower configuration and determine that the water spray sets up a recirculating flow pattern which lowers the pressure on the inside of the curtain.
