ANSYS FLUENT Fluent Inc., the world leader in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and services, today announced the release of the latest version of its flagship CFD software, FLUENT 6.2.

This release has over 300 new capabilities that aim to broaden the range of possible CFD applications in all industries. Key enhancements to the core FLUENT solver have led to dramatic speed-ups and improved accuracy without compromising robustness and ease of use. FLUENT 6.2 has been beta-tested extensively by users and subjected to the most comprehensive real-world industrial test matrix available in the CFD industry today. Beta users have reported impressive performance improvements in FLUENT 6.2 compared to its already notable predecessor, FLUENT 6.1.
