 Modernization of CLARK Panel code: A Clark vortex panel code was written in FORTRAN 70 included with GUI (Graphical user interface). CLARK panel code is based on potential solver used for predicting the aerodynamic coefficient like Cl, Cd and pressure distribution for an aircraft and Helicopters. The task was to modernize the code by replacing the GUI by FORTRAN 90 code and suppress the GUI and few library files also simulation time was required to be reduced.  Decimation of mesh size: Decimation code was written in C language and used for reducing the number of triangular elements in a mesh file by providing the percentage of decimation required. The task was to make it compiled and run for higher number of mesh size.  Meshing for A320 and A350: A Volume mesh was generated in CENTAUR (Meshing software) for A350, A320 aircraft for different spoiler and aileron configuration to study the effect of high lift configurations. A volume mesh was generated for A320 with hex blocks over the wing to study the vortex behavior generated by strake at different angle of attacks.  Meshing and simulation: VSAERO is a FORTRAN code used for calculating the aerodynamic characteristics of an arbitrary configuration. For different configuration of A350-1000 aircraft a structured mesh has been generated in ICEM-CFD and simulation done in VSAERO for different angle of attacks. Approx 7500 number of cases has been simulated.  Meshing for wind tunnel cylinder: A volume mesh has been generated for cylindrical wind tunnel in ICEM-CFD. Vortex breakup study was proposed to be performed in future with different configuration kept at the center of wind tunnel.  CAD-Cleaning: CAD cleaning has been performed on A350-1000 using CATIA V19.

 Mesh generation and Simulation: Generate structured mesh over an aircraft in GRIDGEN and solved the wake pattern in VSAERO.  Wake simulation code: A FORTRAN code was written for unsteady wake simulation behind 2D and 3D wing by vortex panel method.
