I joined Iowa State University as a graduate student to pursue my education in PhD of mechanical engineering, with emphasis on Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) of gas-solid particle-laden turbulent flows and model development for Comuptational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)of multiphase flows.

My assignment was to improve mesh quality for complicated geometries of intake and exhaust valves, and implement parallelization of flow solver using MPI library.
