Educational Qualifications:-
Qualification: M.E. Aeronautical Engineering
University: Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Hindustan University, Chennai.
Duration: 2010 to present
CGPA: 8.7 (up to 3rd Sem) - Univ 2nd rank
Thesis title: CFD Analysis of Scramjet Engine Combustor
Software: GAMBIT-FLUENT
Supervisors: Prof. Dr. P. K. Dash, Professor, Hindustan University.
Brief:
A computational analysis has been carried out using FLUENT software for both cold flow and reacting flow in a Scramjet engine combustor with the multiple ramp-cavity injectors which will enhance the fuel air mixing in a short flow residence time. Inclined injection of hydrogen was used for the combustion analysis. It was observed that the ramp-cavity injector in supersonic combustor helped to lift the fuel away from cavity and wall and enhanced the mixing and flame holding capabilities in supersonic combustion which was identified by the increment in combustor exit temperature and combustion efficiency.
Qualification: B.E. Aeronautical Engineering
University: Madha Engineering College, Anna University, Chennai
Duration: 2006-2010
Aggregate: 79%
Thesis title: Computational Validation of Flow Field Turbulence
Software: ANSYS-CFX
Supervisors: Mr. R. Kannan, CFD Dept., HAL.
Brief:
Effect of flow field turbulence in the wind tunnel and atmosphere conditions has been analyzed numerically using a sphere model by ANSYS-CFX software and validated to a experimental value. For validation CD vs. Re graphs of sphere model, obtained by both experimental and ANSYS-CFX software were matched. For this to be done, various mesh and turbulence model were studied. This project was done for bluff bodies with the future scope application of streamlined bodies.
