Responsible for developing and training a group of CFD engineers, managing work load and work quality, as well as managing CFD codes both old and new, including CCDev (Commercial Crew Development) Contract. Other specialty includes rarefied gas flow using DSMC Analysis Code (DAC) from NASA - Johnson Space Center on vehicles and fins and hypersonic rarefied regime. • Analytical work on the Shuttle Entry Aerodynamics for both pre-flight predictions as well as post-flight data processing and database update by both using previously written programs as well as creating new ones to search through and analyze the data. • Pre- and post-processing Orbiter CFD grids and solutions for databases for DPLR and Overflow (NASA codes) solutions using FieldView 11 as well as running the actual subsonic and supersonic CFD runs on the Orbiter for support, including the Orbiter Window Pressure Certification Database.

Responsible for design, analysis, developing the data product, maintaining the procedures, and planning of the NASA's Space Transportation System (STS) proximity operations via digital data, as well as supporting the astronauts' training and developing flight-critical software's initial loads for the Shuttle flights, as well as supporting other NASA groups as customers, all in an ISO 9000-certified environment. This includes contingency scenarios as well as developing databases to support new changes in the procedures, and data reduction/extraction and analyzing data, as well as understanding the Shuttle’s control system and related orbital dynamics.
