Develop state-of-the-art analytical and computational models of magnetic refrigeration systems
Support device and product development by application of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamic fundamentals to magnetic refrigeration systems and components

3+ years experience, inclusive of graduate school, in developing custom computational and analytical tools to solve Partial Differential Equations for design, analysis, and optimization of heat transfer or fluid flow applications
Experience in developing custom computational tools for thermal/fluid/process systems simulation and optimization
Strong programming skills in a high-level language suitable for numerical computation (C++, Fortran95, Matlab)
Working knowledge of thermodynamic and transport phenomena fundamentals highly desired
Experience in correlating models with experimental results
Experience with commercial FEA/CFD packages (e.g., ANSYS) preferred
Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and PC skills
MS/PhD Engineering or Physics

Citizenship/Residency Requirements
U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required
