For over twenty years, ICON has been delivering market leading independent and confidential support and expertise in the application and development of CFD methods to solve engineering problems. We currently have a vacancy for a Consulting CFD Engineer based in the UK.
In addition to the technical skills outlined below, candidate should be fluent in English and preferably German.
Applicants for the post will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a good degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline. Interest and expertise in the areas of Fluid Dynamics, CFD or CAD would be considered an advantage. Knowledge and experience in the following is particularly desirable:
* Proprietary or Open Source CFD software
* Aerodynamics
* PowerFlow
* Ansa and Ensight
A good general knowledge of software engineering, programming (FORTRAN, C, C++) and computer systems is essential.
You will join a professional team providing services to OEMs worldwide, with the opportunity to work at the forefront of CFD in close collaboration with our first-class application engineers and developers.
