News The Open Source CFD International Conference 2012 took place in the Olympic city of London, UK on the 29th & 30th October.

The conference attracted experts from academia and industry who shared the latest research in open source CFD. Industry segments were represented by Oil & Gas, Steelmaking, Automotive, Motorsport, IT, Chemical, Tobacco Industry, Defence and Security, Renewable Energy and Consulting Engineering.

News Pointwise announces the latest release of its Pointwise computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing software, which includes a new advancing front algorithm for unstructured surface mesh generation and improvement in file reading and writing that yield up to a hundred-fold speedup.
