News Pointwise announces the latest release of its Pointwise computational fluid dynamics (CFD) meshing software.

This update includes new native grid and boundary condition export for Stanford’s SU˛, Scientific Simulations’ NSU3D, and W.R. Davis’ ShipIR.

Announcements Flow Science, Inc. has announced the official speakers and poster presenters for its 2012 FLOW-3D World Users Conference on September 13-14, 2012 in San Francisco, CA at the Hyatt at Fisherman’s Wharf.

The meeting will feature user presentations from a variety of industrial and research applications as well as talks on the latest developments for FLOW-3D presented by Michael Barkhudarov, VP of R&D and John Ditter, VP of Software Engineering at Flow Science.

Announcements Pointwise, Inc. is seeking presenters to share their successes using Pointwise and Gridgen with the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) community at the Pointwise User Group Meeting 2013 to be held 19-20 March 2013 in Fort Worth, TX.

Subjects for past papers have included unique applications of Pointwise and Gridgen and advanced scripting to automate Pointwise and Gridgen.

News EADS, one of the world's largest aerospace and defense manufacturers, and ANSYS, Inc. have today announced that they’ve signed a master agreement to provide simulation tools to all EADS divisions.

EADS uses ANSYS® technology across all its divisions for structural mechanics, fluid dynamics and electromagnetics simulation to perform, among other applications, virtual testing of composite materials, aerodynamics optimization, thermal management, and signal integrity validation on products ranging from aircraft to helicopters to space launchers to defense systems.
