Announcements CD-adapco and Red Cedar Technology have announced they have joined forces to offer a breakthrough solution for design exploration and optimization with CAE/CFD simulation.

Optimate and Optimate+ are add-on modules for STAR-CCM+ that directly employ state-of-the-art process automation and design optimization technology from Red Cedar.

ANSYS Works to Improve EV Batteries

News One year into a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funded project, ANSYS, General Motors LLC, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and ESim are leveraging engineering simulation technology to optimize electric and hybrid vehicle battery performance.

The team achieved significant milestones during the past year in support of the DOE’s Computer Aided Engineering for Electric Drive Vehicle Batteries (CAEBAT) project.

Announcements Tecplot, Inc. will host Exploring System Performance with Simulation Analytics using Tecplot Chorus on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10am PDT.

Recent enhancements to Tecplot Chorus now allow users to evaluate systems of simulation results. In this webinar, Dr. Durrell Rittenberg will illustrate these new features by evaluating blade optimization and performance prediction studies of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
