News Mentor Graphics Corporation has announced the new FloEFD™ for Siemens NX product for concurrent computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation, seamlessly integrated with the Siemens NX product lifecycle management (PLM) software.

Unlike other NX-based tools available today, the FloEFD for Siemens NX software from Mentor Graphics® works directly with native NX geometry using Finite Volume mathematical techniques for more robust and faster simulations, while supporting a wider range of applications.

NASA Honors CFD Developer

News NASA has honored CFD software developer Dr. David Saunders with a Silver Snoopy Award.

Saunders, a contractor with ELORET Corp. and ERC, Inc., was honored for writing numerous codes to streamline the often tedious and time consuming task of running and analyzing high fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, thus greatly reducing the turnaround time, stress, and human errors associated with running CFD simulations.
