Announcements ParCFD 2011, the International Conference on Parallel CFD and held in Barcelona this year from 16-20 May, will begin on May 16th with a full-day tutorial featuring GPUs for CFD Applications.

The agenda includes topics on practical and advanced development procedures from NVIDIA, PGI, and CAPS.

The Workshop is organized in conjunction with the Seventh Mediterranean Combustion Symposium on September 10-11, 2011 in Cagliari, Italy.

News After two decades in London, CD-adapco’s STAR European Conference 2011 moved to a seaside town just 20 minutes from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

Noordwijk was an ideal location for the conference this year. Travel to and from the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin was a breeze for CD-adapco’s European customers and the beach view didn’t hurt either.

News Tecplot, Inc. has released the 2011 version of Tecplot 360, the company’s software for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) visualization.

The latest release provides enhanced support for unsteady analysis solutions including new tools for time-dependent solutions, discrete Fourier transform (DFT), updated data loaders, additional animation formats, plus a number of new general analysis tools and usability enhancements.
