Announcements Mentor Graphics would like to invite you to Reducing PCB Re-Spins on Wednesday February 24th 2010 at 1pm US/Eastern.

It is standard practice to develop electrical and mechanical constraints at a very early stage in the design of electronics and enforce them all the way through to shipping the product. Application: Modeling a Novel Clean Coal Technology
Posted Tue February 02, 2010 @09:10AM
Print version Email story Tweet story
Application Chemical looping combustion (CLC) is a clean-coal technology being developed for future power applications. CLC typically employs a dual circulating fluidized bed (CFB) process where a metal oxide is employed as a bed material providing the oxygen for combustion in the fuel reactor. The reduced metal is then transferred to the second bed, called an air reactor, and re-oxidized before being reintroduced back to the fuel reactor, completing the loop.
