News ANSYS will host ANSYS Meshing Platform for CFD Analysis on Wednesday, October 14 at 4pm EDT and again on Wednesday, November 11 at 9am EST.

The ANSYS meshing platform uses meshing technologies from ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS ICEM CFD, ANSYS CFX, GAMBIT, TGrid and CADOE, and takes advantage of the ANSYS Workbench 2.0 framework so users can create a mesh in a unified environment tailored to their experience.

Dazztech Solutions Sdn Bhd will represent Flow Science in Malaysia and Singapore, and IOG Engineering will represent Flow Science in Turkey.

Application When NASA's Messenger spacecraft performed a critical fly-by of Mercury, the effort was complicated by liquid fuel sloshing in its tanks, possibly throwing off orbital calculations.

However, scientists at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University are tackling the problem with CFD analysis.
