Announcements SoftInWay, an innovator in advanced turbomachinery design software called AxSTREAMô, has announced that it will be conducting its next 3-day training course on turbomachinery flow path design, analysis and optimization from October 7 to 9 in Burlington (Boston), Massachusetts.

The objective of the course is to provide participants with a comprehensive and practical understanding for the rapid multidisciplinary design optimization of flow paths for turbomachinery equipment by using AxSTREAMô to improve efficiency, power, mass flow, etc.

Business: Mentor Graphics Acquires Flomerics for $60M

News Raising its prior bid by 17 percent won the prize for Mentor Graphics Corp.

The maker of software and other tools used by electronics engineers has agreed to pay about $2.43 per share, or about $60 million, for Flomerics Group PLC.
