News CD-adapco announces the release of STAR-CD V4.04, marking the third major product release in a period of just two weeks: STAR-CD V4.04 joins the recently released STAR-CCM+ V2.10 and STAR-CAD Series V4.14.

According to VP of Product Management, Jean-Claude Ercolanelli, the release of new versions of all three major products is testament to CD-adapco’s Power of Integration:

“Integration is a common theme running through all of our products: the STAR-CAD Series integrates industrial strength flow and thermal technology into CAD and PLM environments; STAR-CCM+ offers a single integrated process from 3D-CAD geometry to the CFD solution; and STAR-CD provides an integrated platform for flow, thermal and stress analysis.”

A true scientific explanation, however, lies at the molecular level, beyond the perceptions of the naked eye—but not beyond the reach of researchers at Mississippi State University’s Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS).
