Visualization: New Interface for Fluid Structure Interactions Developed for EnSight

News ADINA R&D, Inc., creator of software for fluid flow with structural interactions (FSI), has recently developed and supports a direct interface to EnSight, extreme visualization software from Computational Engineering International, Inc.

The interface will allow ADINA-CFD users to import results directly into EnSight for high-end visualizations.

New Software: PumpLinx Adds Template for External Gear Pump Simulation

News Simerics Inc. has officially released the extended External Gear Pump template in its PumpLinx software. The External Gear Pump template has been fully tested and is ready for application to help in the design of Gear Pumps by modeling cavitation, pressure, and flow.

Studies show a strong correlation between PumpLinx's predictions and results observed during laboratory tests.
