ANSYS, Inc., a global innovator of simulation software and technologies designed to optimize product development processes, today announced its inclusion on Software Magazine's 2007 Software 500 ranking of the world's largest software and service providers. ANSYS was ranked 122 internationally, with software revenue of $263.6 million. This is the first time that ANSYS has made the list, which is marking its 25th year.

Flomerics is providing its EFD.Pro™ computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software free-of-charge to schools in Canada. The aim is to help students involved in the F1 in Schools™ CAD/CAM Design Challenge by improving the aerodynamics of their designs in a competition where a small fraction of a second separates the winner from the other participants.
