Announcements CFD as an Aid to In-flight Icing Certification will be held September 28th, 2007 at the Universidad de Sevilla, Seville, Spain.

This short but to-the-point course illustrates the state-of-the-art in CFD icing simulations and its applications to the certification process. It should be of direct and indirect value to all personnel involved in in-flight icing.

Post Processing Computational Engineering International (CEI) announced today new Adobe Flash compatibility that streamlines the process of publishing animations to the Web for users of EnSight, CEI’s industry-leading extreme visualization application.

Adding to the long list of file formats that EnSight produces, EnSight version 8.2.5 can now create visualizations as Macromedia Flash video files (.flv) and Macromedia Flash format files (.swf), which are both widely used in the delivery of animations via the Web.

Williams F1 Adds Top 125 Supercomputer for CFD

News Lenovo has announced the successful installation of a powerful supercomputer for ATT Williams, now being used in the racing team's wind tunnel simulation facilities in the UK.

ATT Williams and Lenovo collaborated on the customized supercomputing solution, designed to optimise the aerodynamics of the team's Formula One cars.

Education: 'Engineering Fluid Dynamics for Education' Receives Strong Response

News Flomerics has announced that it has received an unprecedented response to its offer of providing its popular Engineering Fluid Dynamics (EFD) simulation software for teaching and research purposes.

Due to the large response to the initial announcement, Flomerics has announced that it will provide all 3 versions of EFD at $380 for a 3-year license to universities and technology colleges around the world.

The conference will be held November 26-27, 2007 at the Beaumont House, London, United Kingdom.
