CFX announced today that it has established an enterprise software partner alliance (ESP) with PTC, The Product Development Company. CFX has selected PTC because of its product breadth and depth that satisfy the design needs of every type of manufacturer. Through PTC's ESP program, CFX will improve customers' efficiency and profitability by delivering outstanding CFD solutions and support.
"CFX is committed to providing the flexible interfaces to geometry creation tools that will increase productivity and decrease the design cycle to make our customers more successful. The ability to directly import CAD geometry from a powerful CAD package such as Pro/ENGINEER provides our customers with tremendous time and cost savings compared to other less direct import methods. Together with PTC, we are helping customers develop superior products," commented Dr. Brad Hutchinson, Vice President of CFX Mechanical Engineering.
CFX-5 best in class software from CFX, contains very powerful tools and efficient features, such as CAD interfaces to read geometries directly from leading CAD systems such as Pro/ENGINEER without losing information. This feature along with meshing flexibility, superior solver technology, scalable parallelization and qualitative/quantitative post-processing make CFX-5 an advanced and easy-to-use CFD tool.
