Application: CFD as a Part of Total Air Conditioning System Energy Management
Posted Wed August 12, 2015 @10:51AM
Print version Email story Tweet story
Application The importance of air conditioning energy conservation is often a secondary consideration, compared to our comfort, until we realize a negative impact. In Japan, energy consumption by residential and commercial buildings was found to consume one third of the total energy used by the entire country. Of this, half of commercial energy use was from air conditioning.

Japan's limited natural resources makes it imperative to conserve energy. Hence, optimizing air conditioning performance and energy usage are critical.
